A tour at Phu Soidao can be done along the trail uphill for about 6.5 kilometers taking about 4 to 5 hours, ideal for tourists who have strong build and love overcoming difficulty with at least 3 days 2 nights time.
A good time to visit Phu Soidao, if wishing to see the flower field, is late September up to early October each year. In case the winter breeze come sooner, the moisture will be gone with the flowers that wither by the wind’s blow.
Outstanding sights of Phu Soidao that tourist should never miss include Namtok Phu Soidao a medium sized 5 floors waterfall on the way to Laan Son near the Tourist Service Center the most beautiful waterfall in Phu Soidao National Park. For the first day’s trek, tourists will find Namtok Phu Soidao first before climbing up past Noen Song Yard; Noen Prap Zian; Noen Pa Kor; Noen Sua Krong and Noen Morana onto the camping area Lang Paeh where they stop overnight near the pine tree ground Laan Son-sambai by the stream. In the evening, tourists may come to view the sunset at the viewpoint not far from the camping site.
On the second day, tourists will spend most of their time on touring Laan Son. Start at down with a view of the fog sea over the flower field and Pine forest. At noon, the flowers are blooming very beautifully. Near the camping ground there is a trail leading to Namtok Saithip a small size 7 floors waterfall. And on the third day, those who haven’t had enough of wild flowers still have time for a walk in the morning before going down from Laan Son by noon.

How to get there: Tourists may choose to travel by these two routes.
From Bangkok, take Highway number 32 through Ayutthaya, Singh Buri, Chainat and Uthai Thani, then make your way onto Highway number 1 towards Nakorn Sawan before turning onto Highway number 11 about 377 kilometers to reach Pitsanulok. Uttaradit can also be reached by furthering along the Highway number 11 for another 118 kilometers.
From the city of Pitsanulok, go along the Highway number 11 and turn onto Highway number 1246, at Baan Phaeh make your way onto Highway number 1143 through Amphoe Chat Trakan and Highway number 1237 through Baan Bor Park onto Highway number 1268 to reach the National Park Headquarters, with a total distance of about 188 kilometers.
From the city of Uttaradit, go along the Highway number 1047 (Uttaradit to Nam Pard) past Sirikit Dam onto Amphoe Nam Pard for about 68 kilometers. Then take Highway number 1239 towards Baan Huaymun for another 47 kilometers and further along Highway number 1268 for another 18 kilometers to reach the National Park Headquarters, with a total distance of about 133 kilometers.
